Shop guard shot dead by unidentified gunmen

BUREWALA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) Unidentified assailants shot dead a shop security guard in a late-night firing incident in the suburban locality of Adda Pul Khadar, police said on Tuesday.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Fateh Shah Police Station, where gunmen opened fire, killing the guard on the spot.

The victim was identified as Maqsood Waseer(32).

Police officials said they reached the scene shortly after the incident,took the body into custody and shifted it to a nearby hospital for a postmortem examination.

The motive behind the killing remains unknown, and no arrests have been made so far.

Authorities have launched a search operation to trace the suspects, while further investigation was in progress.
