SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Post-Hajj flight operations have officially commenced at Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL), marking the beginning of the return journey for Hajj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
The first post-Hajj flight, AirSial airline PF717, carrying 158 pilgrims, arrived in Sialkot from Jeddah. Hajj pilgrims were warmly welcomed upon their arrival by Minister of State for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Armaghan Subhani, along with Chairman Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) Hassan Ali Bhatti, Vice Chairman (VC) SIAL Waqas Afzal, board Member Shahid Raza, and other senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State Armaghan Subhani said that welcoming pilgrims is a privilege and honor. He praised the government of Pakistan for taking effective measures to facilitate Hajj pilgrims and ensure their comfort throughout the pilgrimage process.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Chairman SIAL Hassan Ali Bhatti stated that pilgrims are the guests of Allah and deserve the highest level of care and hospitality. He said that the Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) has made comprehensive arrangements to provide excellent travel and arrival facilities for returning pilgrims.
According to the airport spokesperson, both the national carrier and AirSial are actively participating in the post-Hajj operation. A total of 5 flights operated by the national airline PIA and 21 flights operated by AirSial will transport more than 5,000 pilgrims back from the holy land to Sialkot.
On the first day of operations, a total of 708 pilgrims will arrive at SIAL through three flights: PF717, PF721, and PK761, said SIAL spokesperson.
