SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Incharge Hajj Operations Sialkot, Mujeeb Akbar Shah, said that in line with the directions of the Minister and Secretary of Religious Affairs, a one-window operation facility has been fully established for Hajj pilgrims.

Talking to APP at Hajji Camp Sialkot, he stated that, similar to other major cities of Pakistan, the ministry has made comprehensive arrangements for pilgrims from Sialkot. A total of 14 bank booths, two airline counters, and health facilities have been set up under one roof at the Hajji Camp to ensure convenient and efficient services. The initiative aims to provide facilities in Sialkot comparable to those available in other major cities.

He further said that pilgrims will be provided with quality accommodation in Makkah near Haram Sharif and in Madina. Dedicated staff will assist them upon arrival at the airport. Additionally, immigration procedures for pilgrims from cities such as Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad will be completed prior to departure to ensure a smooth travel experience.

Mujeeb Akbar Shah added that transportation services will be available round-the-clock, particularly for pilgrims residing farther from the holy sites. Pilgrims will also be given SIM cards with 25GB of data for short-duration stays and 40GB for long-duration (40-day), enabling them to stay connected with their families.

He announced that Hajj flight operations from Sialkot will commence on April 18, 2026. The first flight, AirSial PF-7702, will depart for Madina at 10:15 pm carrying 157 pilgrims. In total, 26 flights — including 21 by AirSial and 5 by PIA — will transport approximately 5,200 pilgrims from Sialkot to Saudi Arabia.

He also said that Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, along with Director Hajj Operations Muhammad Rizwan Sharif and officials of Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL), will see off the pilgrims on the opening day. The Hajj operation will continue until May 21.
