Sindh Governor, PMYP Chairman inaugurate IT Marquee

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Sindh Governor Syed Nehal Hashmi, Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan and PML-N Sindh Chapter President Bashir Memon inaugurated IT Marquee under PMYP at the Governor House here on Saturday.

Spokesperson of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for Sindh Raja Ansari, PMYP Coordinator for Sindh Fahad Shafique and PML-N leaders including Akbar Gujjar were also present on the occasion.

While talking to media persons, the Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi said that the Federal government will facilitate the youth of Karachi.

He said that IT Marquees will also be made across Sindh to provide IT trainings to the youth.

Hashmi hoped that the target of $25 billion export to be achieved by 2030.

The Governor said that Today our civilian leadership had emerged as peacemaker and armed forces as peacekeeper.

He said that US President Donald Trump lauding Pakistan for shooting down Indian aircrafts and he termed it as an honour for Pakistan.

He further said that the world was praising Pakistan for her peace efforts and as a mediator between US and Iran.

Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that the youth of the country were being equipped with IT training and other awards under PMYP.

He said that Rs 200 billion were disbursed last year in terms of loan among the youth.

Talking about the peace efforts of Pakistan between Iran and US, he said that Pakistan was playing role in ending third world war and saving economy of the world.

He praised the efforts of Prime Minister Muhammed Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for peace.

He also lauded Deputy Prime Minister for showing his commitment even after a fracture.

Mashhood said that Pakistan had taken off.

PML-N Sindh Chapter President Bashir Memon talking to media persons said that Today was the day for the youth. It was also a big day for the country as she (Pakistan) was hoisting and mediating talks between US and Iran for peace in Islamabad.

He said that IT Marquees will be established in every divisional and district headquarters.
