Sindh govt notifies revised office timings for holy month of Ramazan

Offices will operate from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Fridays during Ramazan across province  

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Feb 17^th, 2026) The Sindh government on Tuesday issued an official notification announcing revised working hours for all public offices across the province during the holy month of Ramazan.

Under the new schedule, government offices will function from 10:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, offices will operate from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

According to the notification, the revised timings will be applicable to all provincial government departments, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, and local councils operating under the administrative control of the Sindh government.

The notification has been issued with the approval of the Chief Secretary Sindh. Authorities concerned have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the revised office hours during Ramadan.

The provincial government said the adjusted timings are aimed at facilitating employees observing fasting while ensuring that official matters and public services continue without disruption throughout the holy month.
