Sindh home minister reviews Safe City project in Sukkur

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) Sindh Home and Law Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar on Sunday visited the SSP Office Sukkur, where he reviewed in detail the ongoing development and technical work under the Safe City Project.

DIG Sukku, Nasir Aftab Pathan, SSP Ghotki Muhammad Anwar Khetran, SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan, ASP City Sohaib Amin and other officers accompanied the minister during the visit.

On the occasion, the home minister was briefed by the DIG Sukkur and SSP Sukkur on the progress of the Safe City Project and the modern monitoring system.

Terming the Safe City Project important for improving law and order in the city, Minister Lanjar directed officers to complete the project within the stipulated time and ensure effective use of modern technology to further improve crime prevention. He said all available resources should be utilised to protect the lives and property of the public.

The minister reiterated the Sindh government’s resolve to continue taking all possible measures to provide a safe environment to the people.
