Six injured in road mishap at Shangla

SHANGLA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) Six passengers were injured when a bus veered off and plunged into a ravine near Alpuri board area here Friday.

According to police, a passenger bus that was enroute to Dir from Gilgit fell into ravine when driver lost control over the vehicle.

Reason behind the mishap was slippery road due to recent rains.

Meanwhile, team of Rescue 1122 rushed to accident site and retrieved the injured from the gorge. The injured have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for emergency treatment.

The district administration has advised the people to take extreme care during driving on roads during rains.
