Six killed in Kohistan road mishap

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Six persons were killed on Tuesday when a car plunged into a ravine due to over speeding near Taris Banda Chowki area of Kohistan.

According to rescue workers, the car, AFB 324, that was en route to Rawalpindi from Gilgit fell into a ravine while negotiating a sharp turn .

All six persons were killed in the mishap that happened on main Karakoram Highway.

Those who killed in the incident were identified as Suleman, Muhammad Shaban, Imran, Danyal, Muhammad Waseem and Faizan. The bodies were recovered by rescue workers, district administration and locals after hectic efforts.
