Six outlaws held; weapons, stolen items recovered in police crackdown

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) The Dera police have arrested six suspects including proclaimed offenders, a robbery suspect, recovering arms and stolen property during in a series of operations across the district.

In the Kulachi Circle, the police conducted a search and strike operation in Kulachi Circle, resulting in the arrest of three proclaimed offenders identified as Gul Khan, Abdul Rehman, and Imran. The suspects, residents of Gara Mohabbat, were taken into custody during checking, and a 12-bore repeater along with two magazines and 12 cartridges was recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, in the limits of Kirri Khaisour police station, a robbery suspect involved in a recent incident on Chashma Road was arrested.

The accused, Muhammad Ashfaq, was apprehended during a targeted operation. The police also recovered the looted amount of Rs 10,000 cash and a stolen mobile phone from his possession.

In a separate action, Dera Town police, during snap checking, arrested a suspect identified as Abdul Sattar and recovered a submachine gun (SMG) along with 10 cartridges. The cases have been registered while further investigation is underway.

Police authorities reiterated their resolve to continue indiscriminate operations against criminal elements to ensure law and order across the district.
