SNGPL disconnects five more meters, checks 60 meters

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) In a bid to curb gas theft and other illegal activities, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG Control Task Force intensified its operations and disconnected five additional gas meters in various parts of the city.

According to details, two gas meters previously removed by consumers were recovered, while three meters were disconnected over illegal use of compressors to obtain gas.

The task force also conducted door-to-door inspections of 60 consumers.

These measures are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to combat gas theft and ensure uninterrupted, high-quality gas supply to all consumers.
