Solid measures afoot to ensure better healthcare facilities for citizens

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The district administration is taking concrete steps to provide quality healthcare services to people of the area.

As part of efforts, Assistant Commissioner Darazinda, Shahid Iqbal Khattak has paid a surprise visit to type-D Hospital Darazinda to review medical facilities, administrative affairs, and overall cleanliness conditions.

According to the administration, during the visit, he inspected the attendance, duty roster, and overall performance of doctors and paramedical staff.

He also reviewed cleanliness arrangements in various sections of the hospital, including patient wards and the emergency block, and issued instructions to further improve hygiene standards.

He met with patients under treatment and their attendants to gather feedback regarding the availability of medical facilities, medicines, and staff behavior.

Based on the feedback, relevant authorities were directed to take immediate steps for improvement. The AC also visited the hospital pharmacy, where he checked the stock and record of medicines to ensure uninterrupted supply for patients.

In the Outpatient Department (OPD), he reviewed patient flow, the registration system, and the availability of medical equipment. During the visit, a tree plantation drive was also launched in the hospital premises to promote a healthier environment.

Additionally, arrangements for the provision of clean drinking water and facilities in the waiting area were inspected, and necessary instructions were issued for improvement.

At the conclusion of the visit, he directed the hospital administration to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services to the people and warned that any negligence would not be tolerated.
