DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Additional Assistant Commissioner(AAC) Sarai Naurang, Lakki Marwat Mahboob-ur-Rehman has visited various wheat fields in various areas to ensure that threshers and tractor services are being provided to farmers in line with officially prescribed rates.
According to administration, the inspection was carried out following public complaints regarding possible overcharging.
During the visit, thresher owners and tractor drivers were questioned about their fares in accordance with the official government rate list.
All checked services were found to be charging strictly according to the official rates, and no evidence of overcharging or illegal fee collection was detected.
However, he directed all concerned parties to ensure strict compliance with the official rate list in the future and warned against any form of excessive charging from the public.
He further said that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found involved in overcharging or illegal collection of fares in the future.
