Son arrested for torturing mother

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) Police arrested a man for torturing his mother in Basti Bahawalpur located within the jurisdiction

of Abdul Hakeem Police Station.

According to police sources, the accused, Safdar Munir, allegedly physically tortured

his mother, Tasleem Bibi.

Acting on her complaint, police registered a case against Safdar, his wife Muqaddas, and three other

suspects.

District Police Officer Muhammad Abid took immediate notice of the incident and directed police to take

prompt action. The main suspect was arrested and shifted to lock-up.
