Son shots his father to death in Charsadda

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) A domestic dispute turned tragic in Dheri Zardad area, within the jurisdiction of Nisata Police Station in Charsadda, when a son shot and killed his father on Tuesday.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Rustam.

The suspect, Salman, reportedly opened fire on his father following a heated argument on a family dispute, resulting in his death on the spot.

After the incident police shifted the body to a hospital for legal formalities and post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident from various angles. Police said the complaint was filed by the suspect's brother at Nisata Police Station.

Police said efforts are currently underway to arrest the accused, who remains at large.
