SOPs enforced for safe disposal of sacrificial animal waste

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) The district administration has announced the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the safe and timely disposal of sacrificial animal waste during Eid-ul-Azha.

According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, special SOPs have been enforced to ensure proper cleanliness and efficient waste management across the district during the Eid period.

Citizens have been requested to place animal waste outside their homes according to designated timings so that the Bahawalpur Waste Management Company and relevant departments can promptly collect and dispose of it.

Officials said the collection of animal waste will be carried out at scheduled intervals in different areas to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the city.

The district administration stated that special arrangements have been put in place across the district to ensure effective sanitation and timely disposal of animal waste during Eid-ul-Azha.
