- South Waziristan Upper's DC continues 'open-door policy' for addressing citizens' problems

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Upper, Irfan Ali Khan has continued his public-friendly open-door policy at his office to resolve problems of people in the area.
The meetings were held in line with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government's directives aimed at ensuring greater public access to district administration and improving service delivery. According to the administration citizens from different parts of the district met the Deputy Commissioner and highlighted a range of civic and administrative issues.
During the meetings, he reviewed the complaints and applications in detail and directed the relevant departments to take immediate action in accordance with the law and on merit.

Reaffirming the district administration's commitment to good governance, the DC said that the timely, transparent, and effective resolution of public issues remained the administration's foremost priority.
He added that negligence in resolving legitimate public concerns would not be tolerated and assured citizens that every possible effort would be made to provide efficient and people-centric public services.
