SP Ayaz honours City Zone officers for exemplary Muharram duties

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) City Zone Dr Ayaz Hussain on Monday honoured police officers of the City Zone with appreciation certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance during Muharram-ul-Haram security duties.

An official told APP that the certificates were awarded to officers who performed their duties with dedication, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility during the security arrangements for Muharram processions and Majalis.

Ayaz Hussain appreciated the commitment and hard work of the officers in maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of mourners throughout Muharram-ul-Haram.

The SP encouraged the officers to continue performing their duties with the same spirit, professionalism and devotion in future assignments.

Ayaz Hussain said the dedication and discipline displayed by the officers reflected the professionalism of Islamabad Police and played a vital role in ensuring peaceful observance of Muharram in the Federal capital.

The official added that Islamabad Police remained committed to recognizing and encouraging outstanding performance while continuing efforts to protect the lives and property of citizens.
