SP Ayaz pays tribute to retiring Head Constable Abdul Rasheed, awards shield

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) A graceful farewell ceremony was held at the office of SP City Zone in honour of Head Constable Abdul Rasheed on his retirement after long service with Islamabad Police.

An official told APP on Sunday that SP City Zone Dr Ayaz Hussain attended the ceremony as chief guest, while other senior police officers were also present.

SP Ayaz appreciated the services rendered by Abdul Rasheed, noting that retirement was a natural part of service and those who serve with dedication are always remembered with respect.

Ayaz Hussain emphasized that officers should perform their duties with honesty and commitment so their service leaves a positive legacy.

SP Ayaz urged personnel to serve the public with sincerity and dedication.

On the occasion, the retiring officer expressed gratitude for the recognition and thanked the department.

The official said Abdul Rasheed was presented an honorary police shield and gifts in recognition of his services, along with best wishes for his future.
