SP Security holds open court, orders prompt redressal of public complaints

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Security Asghar Ali Goraiya on Wednesday held an open court at the Police Lines Headquarters and directed officers concerned to ensure the prompt resolution of citizens' complaints.

According to a police spokesman, a number of citizens attended the open court and presented their grievances to the SP Security.

After hearing the complaints, Goraiya issued on-the-spot directions to the relevant officers and instructed them to ensure legal action on marked applications within the prescribed timeframe.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP Security said no negligence would be tolerated in the immediate resolution of public complaints and stressed that officers must ensure timely and effective disposal of all cases.

He said providing the best possible service to citizens at police stations remained a top priority and directed officers to deal with complainants courteously and professionally.

Goraiya said that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, protecting the lives and property of citizens and ensuring efficient public service delivery remained the foremost priority of the police, adding that all necessary measures were being taken to achieve these objectives.
