Special cleanliness campaign underway in Shahdara, Ravi Town

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) The operations teams of the Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore are active across the city, while a special cleanliness campaign is also underway in Shahdara and Ravi Town.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the cleaning teams are active at public places, including the police station, Shahdara Teaching Hospital, Shahdara Bazaar, and other locations. More than 750 sanitary workers have been deployed for cleaning activities in Shahdara Town.

Babar Sahib Din said that in Shahdara Town and adjoining areas, 150 loader rickshaws are working for door-to-door waste collection.

Road scraping is also ongoing to make intersections and major roads dust-free.

Officers have been instructed to remain present in the field and ensure 100 percent attendance of workers.

“We are committed to providing citizens with a dust-free and pleasant environment,” said Babar Sahib Din.

Citizens are requested to cooperate with SPA Lahore teams and hand over waste to the sanitation workers who come door-to-door, appealed the Suthra Punjab DG.
