Special Court grants bail to Woman Accused of Drug Possession

A special court for anti-narcotics has granted post-arrest bail to a woman accused of possessing 12 kilograms of hashish

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) A special court for anti-narcotics has granted post-arrest bail to a woman accused of possessing 12 kilograms of hashish.

Judge Dr. Abida Sajjad heard the bail application of accused Suera, who was named in case number 174/2025 registered at ANF Police Station Islamabad.

Advocate Danial Akbar Khan appeared before the court on behalf of the accused and argued that the accused has no previous criminal record and no case has ever been registered against her before. He further submitted that there is no eyewitness to the incident and that the prosecution has named the accused in a false FIR.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court ordered the release of the accused on bail.
