Special medical camp organized at Chiniot old age home under CM’s health initiative

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) Under the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a special medical camp was held at the Old Age Home in Chiniot on Thursday, organized by the District Health Authority to provide high-quality healthcare services to elderly residents. The initiative aligns with the Chief Minister’s “Health for All” vision, aiming to ensure accessible medical care for vulnerable populations.

The camp was attended by Dr. Najaf Pasha and Dr. Hafiz Huzaifa Akhlaq, who conducted comprehensive check-ups for all residents, including men, women, and children. Modern medical equipment was used to assess health conditions thoroughly, and diagnoses were provided on-site.

Following the examinations, medicines were prescribed and distributed immediately to the residents, ensuring prompt treatment. The camp focused on both general and specialized healthcare needs, including eye care, to improve overall well-being among the elderly population.

The administration of the Old Age Home expressed appreciation for the proactive efforts of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, highlighting her commitment to implementing the Chief Minister’s health agenda. Officials emphasized that such initiatives reinforce the government’s dedication to accessible, quality healthcare for all citizens, particularly the elderly and vulnerable groups.
