Special persons rally to mark Bunyan-um-Marsoos victory last year

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) A rally organised by the Society for Special Persons was held to mark the first anniversary of the successful Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.

The rally, led by Pakistan Muslim League-N General Secretary and former Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Tariq Rasheed, started from Nawan Shehr Chowk and concluded at Multan Press Club. A large number of special persons, social activists, and citizens participated enthusiastically in the rally. The participants chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan and expressed strong solidarity with the Pakistan armed forces.

Addressing the participants, speakers stated that under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Pakistan Army delivered a strong and effective response to the enemy during the “Battle of Truth,” achieving a historic success in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.

They stressed that the armed forces of Pakistan have always rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the country’s security and sovereignty, and the entire nation stands firmly alongside its defenders.

President of the Society for Special Persons, Zahida Hameed Qureshi, said that the Pakistan Army responded decisively to enemy aggression, and the rally was organised to commemorate that victory.

Sheikh Tariq Rasheed, in his address, remarked that special persons are equally committed to the defence, development, and stability of the homeland and proudly stand with the armed forces.

Assistant Director Social Welfare Iqbal Sahoo, Asif Iqbal, Rana Arif, Arif Anwar, Hashim Rasheed, and several other prominent personalities also participated in the rally.
