Special RTA complaint cell established to tackle Eid travel issues in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Secretary Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Dera, Shaukat Iqbal, has established a dedicated complaint cell to address public transport issues during the holy month of Ramazan and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

The complaint cell will remain operational at bus terminals and key locations across the district, enabling passengers to report concerns such as overcharging of fares, overloading, mismanagement, and other related issues.

The authorities have assured that all complaints received will be acted upon promptly to ensure timely relief for the public.

According to Shaukat Iqbal, the initiative aims to improve the overall transport system during the busy festive period, facilitate passengers, and prevent any form of exploitation. He urged upon the citizens to immediately report any grievances to the RTA complaint cell so that swift action can be taken.
