SPHQ’s Trauma center ensuring treatment facilities to public 24 hours: Dr. Jamali

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Pharmacist of Trauma Center Sandman Provincial Hospital Quetta (SPHQ), Dr. Muhammad Zahir Jamali, said that the medical store of the trauma center is ensuring treatment facilities to the public 24 hours a day.

He said this while talking to APP regarding duty on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

He said that emergency cases are brought to the trauma center on a daily basis which is provided with timely medical assistance, while injections and other necessary medicines are immediately provided from the medical store.

He said that even during the days of Eid, the staff is busy serving the public with full responsibility so that no patient faces any difficulties.

Dr. Muhammad Zahir Jamali said that under the policy of the Balochistan government, providing better and timely medical facilities to the public in government hospitals is the top priority.

He said that the health department has taken special steps to ensure the availability of medicines in hospitals, improvement of emergency services and attendance of staff.

He further said that as per the instructions of the Health Department, emergency remained in force in all major hospitals and trauma centers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, while the presence of doctors, paramedical staff and pharmacists was ensured so that any emergency situation could be dealt with effectively.

He expressed his determination that the staff of Trauma Center Sandman Provincial Hospital Quetta would continue their services to provide the best medical facilities to the public and no patient would be left alone.
