Sports Gala starts at SE College

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) The 64th annual Sports Gala kicked off with enthusiasm at the Government Sadiq Egerton College Bahawalpur, bringing together faculty, alumni and students for a three-day festival of healthy competition.

Former principals Rana Muhammad Siddique and Mahmood ul Hasan, along with retired teachers

and distinguished guests, attended the opening ceremony. Principal Rana Muhammad Imran Arshad and Vice Principal Dewan Muhammad Asif Shehzad were also present.

Addressing participants, Prof Dr Mahmood ul Hasan praised students’ strong interest in sports, highlighting the role of healthy activities in character building.
