SRSO holds SHS training session in Sukkur

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) The Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO) held a one day cascade orientation and demonstration session on Solar Home System (SHS) kit installation, standard operating procedures and MIS application at its district office here on Wednesday.

The session was organised under the Solar Home System Project funded by the Sindh government’s Energy Department and implemented by SRSO in 30 districts of the province.

Regional General Manager Khairpur Region Aumir Abbas Mangi, Senior District Manager Ghotki Ashiq Kalwar, District Manager Sukkur Khan Muhammad, Monitoring and Verification Officers, District Project Officers of the SHS Project from Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki districts, newly hired SHS technicians, three from each district including MER and MIS staff attended the session.

Senior Manager MIS delivered technical training on the MIS application, covering system usage, data entry protocols and reporting requirements. Monitoring and Verification Officer Khairpur conducted a practical orientation on SHS kit installation procedures and relevant SOPs and provided detailed guidance on installation standards, quality assurance measures and field level compliance.

Officials said the orientation strengthened the capacity of field teams, technicians and project staff regarding SHS kit installation procedures, MIS operations, and compliance with project SOPs.
