KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) City Syed Ali Hassan on Tuesday chaired a meeting of head moharrars and issued directives regarding deployment, discipline and administrative efficiency.

During the meeting, the SSP sought a detailed report on personnel strength and current deployment across the district.

He directed that Shaheen Force be deployed at identified hotspot locations, while making it clear that no constable would be assigned to entry points.

The SSP further instructed that any leave granted by SDPOs must also be reported to the SSP office, ensuring proper record-keeping and oversight.

Head moharrars were directed to ensure cleanliness and protection of all government assets, while the Motor Transport Officer (MTO) was asked to expedite repair of official motorcycles.

Special emphasis was laid on proper deployment along I.I. Chundrigar Road, with a uniform deployment pattern to be followed across all police stations.

The SSP directed that the daily roznamcha be initiated by the head moharrar himself, and that deployment details be shared in the relevant group along with photographs at the time of dispatch from the police station.

He also announced that a follow-up meeting with all head moharrars would be held after one week to review progress on the directives.
