SSP Hyderabad directs all SDPOs, SHOs to personally monitor police performance in their territorial jurisdictions

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) 5Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar chaired an important meeting at the Police Headquarters here Monday regarding crime control and drugs elimination.

The meeting was attended by SP Headquarters Zain Raza Baloch, all SDPOs of Hyderabad district, SHOs and in-charges of various branches of the SSP office.

During the meeting, the SSP Hyderabad directed all the officers to ensure immediate arrest of listed criminals, declared and absconding accused issued by IG Sindh at all costs and take full legal action against them.

The SSP Hyderabad stressed on making the ongoing crackdown against criminals, drug peddlers and anti-social elements more effective, coordinated and fruitful, and said that the operations should be continued without discrimination until the complete elimination of crimes.

The meeting took notice of irresponsible behavior and poor performance by some officers in the performance of their duties and issued orders for departmental action against them. SSP Hyderabad directed to further increase the presence of police in the city's entry and exit routes, important highways, sensitive places and crime-affected areas and issued orders to increase personnel and mobile patrols.

He stressed on increasing the number of motorcycle fighters, effective snap checking, roadblocks and ensuring the use of modern digital technology "search device" so that crime prevention can be made more effective through immediate identification and monitoring of suspects, wanted accused and criminal elements.

The SSP Hyderabad directed all SDPOs and SHOs to conduct roll calls on a daily basis and directed that the attendance, discipline and performance of the officials be regularly reviewed.

Moreover, special security arrangements and additional patrols should be ensured at markets and other financial transaction centers so that the lives and property of citizens and timely prevention of crimes can be made possible.

The SSP Hyderabad directed all SDPOs and SHOs to personally patrol, check and monitor police performance in their respective sub-divisions and police station limits so that crime incidents can be significantly reduced and a safe environment can be provided to the citizens.

He meeting expressed satisfaction over the overall crime control situation, however, strict instructions were given to resolve public issues promptly and to treat the visitors visiting the police stations with courtesy, respect and responsibility.

He made it clear that any negligence, carelessness or irresponsible behavior in reaching out to the citizens will not be tolerated.

The SSP reiterated the resolve that all available resources and capabilities will be utilized to protect the lives and property of the citizens, maintain law and order and eradicate crime.
