SSP reviews security arrangements at churches in capital

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various churches in the Federal capital and reviewed security arrangements to ensure safety of worshipers and religious gatherings.

An official told APP on Sunday that the SSP Qazi also met church administration representatives and discussed security-related matters and coordination mechanisms.

Qazi inspected security points and directed officers deployed on duty to remain fully alert and further strengthen checking and monitoring measures.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining effective security arrangements at places of worship and ensuring a peaceful environment for all communities.

According to the official, Islamabad Police was taking all necessary measures to safeguard religious sites and protect citizens across the federal capital.
