SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, inaugurates new police picket

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, inaugurated a new police picket within the jurisdiction of B-Section Police Station as part of efforts to further improve the law and order situation in the city.

The inauguration ceremony was held near Sugar Mill Phatak Road and was attended by senior police officers, notable members of the local community. A special prayer was offered on the occasion for the safety and prosperity of country and for establishment of lasting peace in the area.

Addressing the ceremony, SSP Sameer Noor Channa said that the establishment of police picket is an important step toward preventing crime and ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property. He added that police remain committed to safeguarding public at all times, and the new picket will strengthen police presence in the area, enabling timely response to any untoward incident.

SSP also directed police officers to perform their duties with honesty and diligence and to maintain courteous behavior with the public.
