NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, has taken strict notice of the incident of violent clash that erupted within the jurisdiction of Kishorpur Police Station in Shaheed Benazirabad over a land dispute between two groups of Bhund community, resulting in multiple casualties.

According to police spokesperson, the dispute escalated into an exchange of fire, leaving three people dead and eight others injured. Upon receiving information about the incident, SSP immediately directed all DSPs of the district and concerned SHOs to reach the scene along with heavy police contingents.

Law enforcement personnel promptly took control of the area to prevent further escalation and cordoned off the locality to maintain order.

In his statement, SSP expressed deep and strong displeasure over the loss of precious human lives.

He said that those who take the law into their own hands deserve no leniency, adding that all individuals involved in this heinous act would be brought to justice and awarded exemplary punishment. Meanwhile police officials confirmed that the situation is now under control due to heavy deployment of force in the area.

A large-scale search operation has been launched to arrest the absconding suspects and others involved in bloody clash.

Police pickets have also been established at key points to ensure law and order. SSP has clarified that police personnel would remain deployed in the area until all those involved in the incident are apprehended.
