SSP traffic Abbottabad inspects official vehicles, issues show-cause notices over mechanical faults

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) SSP Traffic Abbottabad, Ishtiaq Khan Thursday paid a visit to the Traffic MT Section where he conducted a comprehensive inspection of all official vehicles.

During the visit, physical and mechanical checks of the vehicles were carried out to ensure their optimal performance and road safety. SSP Traffic examined the overall condition, engine, brake system, and other key components with special attention.

It was disclosed that show-cause notices were issued to the drivers of vehicles found with body or mechanical faults, and they were directed to address the deficiencies within a stipulated timeframe.

Strict action was taken against those found negligent.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Traffic Ishtiaq Khan emphasized that maintaining official vehicles in proper condition is crucial not only for effective duty performance but also for ensuring public safety. He further directed the concerned staff to ensure regular maintenance and timely repair of all vehicles.
