SSP vows to eliminate menace of drugs from Shaheed Benazirabad

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Sameer Noor Channa strongly stated that no leniency would be shown to those poisoning the youth, and the operation would continue until the district is cleared of the menace of drugs.

In this regard Shaheed Benazirabad police carried out a major operation and arrested a notorious drug dealer as part of an ongoing campaign against narcotics across the district.

On the special directives of SSP the Airport Police Station conducted a successful operation after receiving confidential information. During operation, a notorious drug dealer identified as Shahid Ali Lakho was arrested.

Police recovered a large quantity of banned Z-21 gutka from the possession of the accused. A case has been registered against the suspect under the Narcotics and Gutka Act, and further investigation is underway.
