illegal bikes in the city.

Official sources on Monday said, out of more than one hundred thousand motorcycles, only a few hundred

have been registered so far.

Despite the completion of given deadline, thousands of motorcycle riders have failed to register their vehicles. This situation has raised serious concerns regarding the city’s security, as unregistered motorcycles are not only violating\ the law but also reportedly being used in criminal activities.

Sources stated that due to security concerns, motorcycle registration has been made mandatory to ensure public safety and improve security measures. However, many riders are still avoiding registration, which is further worsening the situation.

Officials further informed that during the ongoing crackdown, unregistered motorcycles will be impounded and those violating the law will face arrests and legal proceedings.
