Opening the conversation, Smith greeted Siddle by saying, “Hi Steve and chacha,” adding that Siddle is popularly known by that nickname.
Both cricketers were seen smiling and sharing a cheerful exchange after the remark.
The nickname “chacha” gained popularity during the Big Bash League when Haris Rauf started calling Siddle by the term. A few days ago, Siddle also expressed his खुशी over the nickname during a media interaction, humorously referring to himself as a “foreign chacha” while calling Iftikhar Ahmed the “local chacha.

Speaking about the match, Siddle said winning the toss was beneficial and added that the team delivered a strong bowling performance after opting to bowl first.
Smith praised the team’s bowling unit, highlighting the contributions of the spinners, including Nawaz and Arafat, and noted that the opposition could have posted a total exceeding 160 runs. He added that the team successfully chased down the target.
Siddle further said their aim was to restrict the opposition to a manageable total, adding that dew later played a role in the game. He lauded Smith for yet another impressive innings and appreciated his partnership with Farhan.
