Stray dog attack claims minor’s life

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) A six-year-old boy died after a stray dog attack in Alipur tehsil.

According to the victim’s parents, the incident occurred three days ago within the limits of Kandai police station, where a pack of stray dogs mauled the child, Rizwan, leaving him critically injured.

He was first shifted to THQ Hospital Alipur for emergency treatment. Due to his deteriorating condition, he was later referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan.

The child remained under treatment for three days but succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. The police are investigating the incident.
