ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) KPMS Coordinator Ahmad Nadeem Khan said that Hajj 2026 has moved into a complete digital supervision phase, with the Khuddam Performance Monitoring Cell actively providing live oversight of assistant staff through biometric checks and GPS-enabled tracking systems.

While speaking in an exclusive interview with ptv news, KPMS Coordinator Ahmad Nadeem Khan said that, in line with the directives of the Prime Minister and the Minister for Religious Affairs, improved facilities are being arranged for pilgrims in Hajj 2026, with a stronger emphasis on efficiency, facilitation, and better service delivery.

He said a new digital oversight framework titled “Khuddam Monitoring System” has been launched to strengthen monitoring and accountability. Through this platform, various performance indicators are being applied to continuously review the duties, conduct, and responsiveness of Khuddam engaged in pilgrim services.

He further explained that staff behaviour and on-ground performance are being monitored in real time to ensure discipline, improved coordination, and high-quality service standards.

The system, he added, enables immediate identification of operational gaps and supports swift corrective measures.

Program Manager NTIB, Muhammad Awais, also stated that a comprehensive digital performance “report card” is being generated for each staff member through a centralized monitoring cell. This data-based evaluation process is designed to improve transparency and ensure objective assessment of service standards across the entire Hajj operation.

He added that dedicated digital units along with mobile applications have been deployed to support the monitoring mechanism, making the system more responsive, integrated, and technology-driven for smoother management of pilgrim services.

He further noted that the mechanism includes biometric attendance along with GPS-enabled tracking to provide real-time updates of Khuddam deployment and activity.

According to him, performance will be assessed on multiple parameters including attendance, discipline, availability, coordination, compliance, and facilitation of pilgrims, ensuring greater accountability and efficiency during Hajj 2026.
