Students showcase entrepreneurial spirit at Spring Fair

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) A vibrant spring fair, (Meena Bazaar), was organized at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) Girls Hostel, Jasmine Court, celebrating creativity, entrepreneurship,

and student engagement.

The event was inaugurated by Registrar Samia Ambreen and Dr. Irfan Ahmed Baig, who emphasized the importance of recreational activities in promoting students’ mental and physical well-being. They noted that such events help reduce academic stress while fostering creativity, confidence, and social interaction.

Female students set up colorful stalls featuring henna art, bangles, floral garlands, handmade jewelery, makeup services, paintings, games, and a wide variety of sweet and savory homemade foods. The stalls attracted enthusiastic participation, with attendees making significant purchases that encouraged students’ entrepreneurial ideas and strengthened their sense of self-reliance.

Organizers said the Meena Bazaar not only provided entertainment but also offered practical business experience to students. Recreational attractions, including swings, horse riding, slides, and jumping activities, drew large crowds. A dragon boat ride proved to be a major highlight, particularly popular among children and students.

In addition to students, women faculty members and families also attended in large numbers, adding to the festive atmosphere. Several faculty members and administrative officials were present at the occasion, along with a large gathering of students.
