ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) has made it mandatory to submit a prescribed standard form with every petition, appeal or other judicial filing instituted before the Court.
In this regard, a formal circular has been issued by Additional Registrar (Judicial) Nazar Abbas.
According to the circular, the prescribed form must be attached with every petition or appeal, failing which the filing will not be considered complete. The form must be duly signed by the Advocate-on-Record, an Advocate of the Supreme Court, or by the petitioner appearing in person.
The circular states that the standard form will constitute an integral part of the court documents and will be utilized during the scrutiny, classification and bench formation process, with the aim of ensuring efficient and organized hearing of cases.
Furthermore, the prescribed form will be made available on the official website of the Federal Constitutional Court, from where concerned parties may download it.
