Sukkur admindtration to hold monthly reviews of social, political activities

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Sukkur Nadir Shehzad Khan, a meeting of the District Coordination Committee (Socio-Political Domain) of Sukkur was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Sukkur, Majid Mako at his office here on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by officers of concerned departments including the Regional Director Local Government Sukkur, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee, Minority Affairs Department, sports and Youth Affairs Department, Auqaf Department, Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr Department, Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department and the Information Department.

Addressing the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sukkur Majid Mako said that the District Coordination Committee must be activated, adding that all present are members of the committee.

He said it is the responsibility of committee members to provide reports on all activities and developments taking place in District Sukkur.

He further said that all social and political activities of the concerned departments at the district level will be shared with the Federal and provincial steering/review committees. A coordination and review meeting will be held every month and proceedings and minutes of the meeting must be shared before the first of each month to ensure implementation of the decisions of the federal and provincial apex committees. In this regard, review meetings will be convened in the first week of every month.
