Suspect held, Liquor seized in Wah Cantt Police operation

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Police have arrested a man for advertising liquor on social media and recovered five bottles of liquor during crackdown in the jurisdiction of Wah Cantt Police Station here on Sunday.

According to police spokesperson, the accused was taken into custody after authorities acted on information regarding the online promotion of liquor.

During the arrest, five bottles of liquor were recovered from his possession.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan commended police team for their swift action and professionalism, stated that the suspect will be challaned before the court with solid evidence to ensure due punishment. He added that all necessary measures are being taken to eliminate the menace of narcotics. Further investigation is underway.
