Eid holidays mark the return of traditional, manually operated swings, which have popped up around parks in Rawalpindi for children's amusement.

Families who are unable to pay entry and ride tickets at amusement parks that can cost anywhere between Rs300 to Rs500, can opt for traditional swings that have fixed prices set at Rs30 per ride.

The swings have been set up in various areas of Rawalpindi, including at the edges of commercial markets and in other parts of Jamia Masjid Road, Dhok Farman Ali and Sadiqabad.

Citizens have expressed their joy at being able to take their children on fun outings and allowing them to experience playful activities even as inflation puts most recreational and entertainment options out of reach for most people.
