Talagang tops Punjab with zero complaints during Eid cleanliness operation

TALAGANG, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) District Talagang emerged as Punjab’s best-performing district during the Eid-ul-Adha cleanliness campaign by recording zero complaints on the 1139 helpline till the third day of Eid, according to the official sanitation performance report issued by provincial authorities.

The achievement was attributed to the effective administrative strategy and supervision of Deputy Commissioner Sarah Hayat and Additional Deputy Commissioner General Talagang and Managing Director Suthra Punjab Suleman Minhas, along with the dedicated efforts of sanitation staff working across the district.

Officials said the district administration ensured timely disposal of sacrificial animal waste, uninterrupted cleaning of roads and streets, and distribution of waste collection bags among residents during all three days of Eid-ul-Adha.

Under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, operational teams remained active round the clock under close field supervision to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for citizens.

The district administration stated that Talagang’s exceptional performance was made possible through coordinated teamwork, efficient planning, and public cooperation. The successful operation received widespread appreciation from citizens and has been recognized as a model sanitation campaign across Punjab during Eid-ul-Adha.
