Key institutions benefiting from the feeder include Bank Islami, Faysal Bank, Habib Bank Limited and the National Bank of Pakistan, along with Aga Khan Laboratory, LUMHS Laboratory, Memon Hospital and other healthcare facilities. A number of educational institutions are also connected to the network.

According to HESCO officials, line losses on the feeder stood at 36.88 per cent prior to the initiative, which have been reduced, with recovery improving to 72.

45pc, while the current AT&C losses stand at 31.70pc. The feeder serves approximately 6,862 consumers. Additionally, a 31.5/40 MVA transformer has been installed and three-phase meters have been upgraded to modern AMI meters.

Under the agreement, both HESCO and consumers will remain bound to keep AT&C losses below 20pc and ensure 100pc recovery, with a strict zero-tolerance policy against electricity theft. Officials warned that failure to maintain the targets could result in the reimposition of load-shedding as per policy.

He noted that the TDM-3 feeder has now become the 46th feeder in the HESCO region to be declared load-shedding free, adding that 45 feeders had already been upgraded earlier, while 68 feeders are targeted for similar relief during the current fiscal year.
