Tank admin conducts market and transport inspections to ensure public convenience

TANK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Tank, Jamshed Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Irfan Khan carried out inspections of various markets, hotels, juice shops, cold drink outlets, and wholesale dealers to ensure compliance with government regulations and public health standards.

During the visits, the official reviewed cleanliness conditions, verified the display of official price lists, and checked the expiry dates of food and beverage items. He directed shopkeepers and business owners to maintain proper hygiene standards, prominently display price lists, and refrain from selling expired or substandard products.

Meanwhile, the Additional Assistant Commissioner also visited the main bus stand, Rawalpindi Adda, and Jandola Adda in Tank to inspect transport facilities and monitor implementation of officially notified fares.

During the inspection, passenger fares and seating arrangements were checked, and no violations were found. The transport administration was instructed to continue ensuring the availability of clean drinking water for passengers and maintain proper sanitation arrangements at transport terminals.

The district administration reiterated its commitment to safeguarding public interests, ensuring fair pricing, and maintaining health and safety standards across the district.
