Tank DPO greets citizens on Eidul Azha, lauds public cooperation

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Tank, Abdul Samad Khan has extended Eidul Azha greetings to the people of the district and appreciated citizens for maintaining peace and order during the Eid festivities.

In his message, the DPO said that the people of Tank showed responsibility and civic sense by fully cooperating with police appeals to avoid aerial firing, one-wheeling, firecrackers and other dangerous or unlawful activities on Eid night.

He said that due to the positive response from the public, no untoward incident was reported, creating a peaceful atmosphere across the district.

He thanked the citizens for their cooperation and expressed hope that the same spirit of responsibility, peace and respect for the law would continue on Eid day as well.

He added that public cooperation with Tank police would help ensure that all citizens celebrate Eidul Azha in a safe, peaceful and pleasant environment.
