Teacher breaks both arms of student in Lower Dir

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) A government school teacher allegedly subjected a young student to severe physical violence, breaking both of his arms for failing to complete homework in Lower Dir.

According to police on Sunday, the incident took place in the area of Sadiqa Banda, Oshiray Dara, Lower Dir.

The accused teacher, working at a Government Primary School, reportedly beat the student so brutally that both of the child’s arms were fractured.

The injured student was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where he is currently receiving medical treatment.

Police have registered a case against the teacher and confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody. Police said that strict legal action will be initiated against the accused teacher.

The incident has sparked concern among parents and the local community over student safety in educational institutions.
