Teenager killed by lightning strike

KOT ADDU, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) A 19-year-old boy lost his life after being struck by lightning during rainfall in Kot Addu on Thursday.

The incident occurred in Chak No. 154 ML, where the young man had gone outside amid heavy rain to untie his livestock and move them to a safer location.

During the process, lightning struck him, leaving him severely burned and causing his death on the spot.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Adnan s/o Bilal Ahmed. Family members stated that Adnan was 19 years old.

The sudden tragedy has plunged the local community into grief, while residents have urged citizens to exercise extreme caution during thunderstorms and severe weather conditions.
