Mojtaba Khamenei further said that the Persian Gulf is a divine blessing for Muslim nations.

TEHRAN: Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has said that the Iranian nation has made the greatest sacrifices for regional independence and against foreign interference.

In a new message released by Iranian state media, he stated that a “new chapter” is beginning in the Strait of Hormuz. He said that after what he described as the failure of US strategies and two months of escalating tensions, a new regional phase is emerging in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.

He claimed that the region is entering a new strategic reality following what he termed the “failure of American plans” and recent developments in the Gulf.

Mojtaba Khamenei described the Strait of Hormuz as a historic strategic asset that has long attracted global powers due to its importance. He said the Persian Gulf serves not only as a link between nations but also as a vital global economic route through the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman.

He further said that the Persian Gulf is a divine blessing for Muslim nations, particularly the Iranian people, and emphasized that the Islamic Revolution marked a turning point in ending foreign influence in the region.

The Iranian leader added that Iran, which has the longest coastline along the Persian Gulf, has made significant sacrifices for regional independence and resistance against external interference.
